L.E.A.R.N. is a non-political, non-ethnic and non-denominational organization of volunteers joining together to create possibilities for children and adults with special needs. We invite you to join with us to provide many opportunities for our children and adults to grow, learn, and expand their horizons. We want to see our children and adults reach their fullest potential, making their lives fuller and richer.

L.E.A.R.N. helps provide individuals an opportunity to develop both physically and socially! They can participate in our sports programs, learn new skills, have fun, enjoy leisure activities, make new friends, and become a part of the L.E.A.R.N. Family!

We welcome your participation in all of our activities, events, and/or sports programs. Please remember that at least one parent, legal guardian or legal caregiver must accompany their child/adult to these programs.

100% Program Efficiency Rating!

100% of all donations L.E.A.R.N . receives go directly towards the programs and services provided giving it a 100% Program Efficiency Rating for a nonprofit organization. There are no management or salary fees associated with the organization. L.E.A.R.N. receives no funds from the government, which makes our fundraising efforts crucial to the organization’s success. The success of L.E.A.R.N. depends on the contributions made by our supporters and volunteers.
If you like to help people you have come to the right place. We have a large variety of volunteer activities, including sports training, fund raising, competition planning, etc.

Our sports programs are open to players, both male and female, ages 8 and up with special needs. We currently have athletes participating in the following sports: Basketball, Bocce Ball, Bowling, Flag Football, Golf, Power lifting, and Track & Field. L.E.A.R.N. STARS athletes have also represented Area 16 Rutherford County Special Olympics and competed in these sports at their local, regional, state and national tournaments. Come out and join us and have some fun.
